Finally...a Pod!

The Bison Illustrated Podcast was conceived over a couple beers at me and Josh Swanson's favorite Bison-themed restaurant Herd & Horns. Swany had the mics and equipment. I had something to say. And that's how we brought our everyday conversations about the Bison to our readers' ears. Swany was the engine that drove the pod and it wouldn't have been possible without him...and his equipment.You can still find the pod on iTunes and SoundCloud. 

Swany was away on his honeymoon and it was the second consecutive episode I had to grab the wheel and host the pod. Luckily, my good friend and colleague Sam Herder was present to help me out. The audio file above is what transpired. It was the first time in Bison Illustrated Podcast history we included remote interviews. Here's the rundown:

Swany and I were joined on our sixth-ever episode by former North Dakota State Bison basketball star Taylor Braun. Taylor left NDSU after the 2013-14 season and was a part of the senior class who won the Summit League Championship and beat Oklahoma in the NCAA Tournament, arguably the biggest win in NDSU Athletics history, for any sport. Braun spent a few seasons overseas playing ball so naturally we had to ask him about pro hoops in Europe. He landed in the G-League for the 2017-18 season.
